Islamic Democracy, An Oxymoronic Combination

I venture to opine that prior to the invasion of Afghanistan & Iraq few of us considered bringing freedom and democracy to these countries would entail Islamic constitutions, constitution's that fail to provide basic human rights for its citizenry; only at drafting did we come aware. I recall little opposition, as the position I recall was to not expect these democracies to mirror ours. Who are we to impose our values on these societies? I questioned silently, as maybe many did. I thought: How can this work? How can a democracy that is dedicated to Sharia law work?

In hindsight we ask: How can "it be" a democracy if there is no equality and more then half the population is considered second-class? A democracy doesn't outlaw people’s thoughts, their words or religions. A democracy doesn't institute dhimmitude upon all non-Muslims. An axiom of democracy certainly is not to authorize nor command Jihad against differing Muslim sects, and "all" non-Muslims (infidels).

Has the Bush administrations greatest mistake been the failure to anticipate the post invasion difficulties and the Iranian influence we face in Iraq? Or is it the failure to foresee, and still today fail to accept that an "Islamic democracy" is an oxymoron? It cannot work.

So what were and are we thinking? And what's been accomplished? Much has has been accomplished, and the cause has certainly been a noble one. The spark of freedom has somewhat been ignited. But I fear we are merely postponing the inevitable, an all out world war to defend our way of life. A war to preclude the promise of Islam, for the Qur'an demands, and Islamic leaders are impetuously determined to acheive world domination, and the institution of Islamic law world-over.

We need fear not patriotic American's, as we cannot lose this war. We have all the might, the power and technology needed to fight and win this war virtually overnight. But, we do thankfully lack the cause, the cause to fully fight and win outright. That is because we Infidels are innately peaceful, altruistic and the exact opposite of the enemy - un-imperialistic. We seek no domination over another except that which freedom and its capitalism metes. The same freedom we foster world-over. Even in their twisted world.

America fights war solely in defense of self or its allies. Preemptive wars were nearly unthinkable in the past. But in this changed world with this rise of maniacal Islamofascisism, and their thirst for WMD's, it is believed by the reasoned, an aggresive offensive is crucial to the security of our way of life.

Even with all our heightened security, and our defenses at a constant state of readiness, and our successes thwarting the enemies nefarious plans, this enemy will again have success here in our homeland. It is said we need to be right 100% of the time, where the enemy need only be right once. Should their success be with a weapon of mass destruction, may God have mercy on them. For America, regardless of which political party controls the White House will launch a strike, a peremptory strike to outright destroy them, and unfortunately, collaterally, all innocents within scope. If this happens Americans will be resolute in knowing the attacking enemy will have left us no other option.

The hope is the armament of best tactic, producing the least loss of life will be utilized. While equally a swift victory is assured putting an end to this 7th century Islamofascist madness.

When it is over the real work will begin. Because, when Islam falls, the plan to build a civilization (whatever it’s to be called), will dwarf that of the Marshall Plan. A look back at post World-War-2 Japan, at a defeated imperialistic enemy, lends insight. Under US pressure, Japans Emperor disavowed and discontinued all state sponsor of any form of divinity. The vacuum was filled with a more peripheral devotion to Shintoism, a peaceful, undogmatic form. That’s not possible for Islam. There is no peaceful form of Islam. Islam is a cult religion, a religion which has produced nothing but religion and war.

I find it difficult to write of such horrors, but when I think of the horrors imposed upon all these people living under Islamic rule, the consideration of freeing them heartens me. It sickens me to consider that we need stand by while millions suffer in such fashion. But, it agonizes me more to consider that it will require an attack of severe magnitude upon us, to get us to act.

Franklin Roosevelt called December 7th "a date which will live in infamy." America's charge 1941 to '45 was to free Europe and Asia. Todays charge will be to free the rest of the world. The final charge following the war will be a commitment to bring Christianity to the people of the newly freed Islamic States. Congress Passes NRA-backed "Disaster
Recovery Personal Protection Act of 2006"

Fairfax, VA- The National Rifle Association (NRA) and law-abiding gun owners scored a significant victory yesterday when the United States Congress acted to prohibit the confiscation of legal firearms from law-abiding citizens during states of emergency, barring practices conducted by officials in New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. This action was included in the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations bill that passed both chambers of Congress. This bill now heads to President Bush for his expected signature.

"Following the chaos and civil disorder in New Orleans when the city effectively suspended the Second Amendment, NRA vowed to make sure we never again witnessed this kind of desecration on our rights," declared Chris W. Cox. "As promised, NRA set out to pass legislation at both the federal and state levels to protect the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding American citizens."

H.R. 5013, the "Disaster Recovery Personal Protection Act," was introduced in the House by Congressman Bobby Jindal (LA - 1) passed the House on July 25, 2006 with a broad bi-partisan margin of 322-99. Senator David Vitter (R-La) introduced the Senate version of the bill, which passed the United States Senate by 84-16, the largest margin of victory for a NRA-backed measure.

"The essence of the 'Disaster Recovery Personal Protection Act' was so compelling that it received strong bipartisan support in Congress," continued Cox. "When 911 is non-existent and law enforcement personnel are busy with search and rescue missions and other duties, law abiding Americans want to defend their families and loved ones in times of emergency. Your NRA helped guarantee their freedom to do just that."

"On behalf of all NRA members nationwide, I want to thank Rep. Bobby Jindal (R-LA) and Sen. Vitter for their leadership in introducing this legislation and seeing these fundamental bills through to passage," concluded Cox.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - President Bush suggested Thursday that Democrats don't have the stomach to fight the war on terror, battling back in the election-season clamor over administration intelligence showing terrorism spreading.

"Five years after 9/11, the worst attack on the American homeland in our history, Democrats offer nothing but criticism and obstruction and endless second-guessing," Bush said at a Republican fundraiser.

"The party of FDR and the party of Harry Truman has become the party of cut and run," Bush told a convention-center audience of over 2,000 people. The event put $2.5 million in the campaign accounts of Alabama Gov. Bob Riley and the state GOP.

With suicide bombings spreading from Iraq to Afghanistan, the Pentagon has tasked intelligence analysts to pinpoint what's driving Muslim after Muslim to do the unthinkable.

Their preliminary finding is politically explosive: it's their "holy book" the Quran after all, according to intelligence briefings obtained by WND.

In public, the U.S. government has made an effort to avoid linking the terrorist threat to Islam and the Quran while dismissing suicide terrorists as crazed heretics who pervert Islamic teachings.

"The terrorists distort the idea of jihad into a call for violence and murder," the White House maintains in its recently released "National Strategy for Combating Terrorism" report.

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood said the Pope's latest explanation was "definitely not an apology."

"The Pope says it does not express his views. So what are his views?" said Mohammed Habib, deputy head of the influential group. "He must say these views (in the quotes) are incorrect."

The Pope, a former theology professor, invited his listeners to re-read his speech.

"For the careful reader of my text it is clear that I in no way wanted to make mine the negative words pronounced by the medieval emperor and their polemical content does not reflect my personal conviction," he said.

His said his intention had been to "explain that religion and violence do not go together but religion and reason do." He said he hoped the furor could help encourage "positive and even self-critical dialogue."

There! Got it yet Isalm? The Pope is saying to look at yourselves. Examine what you do and say. Do this through use of self-critical dialogue. Exactly what every sensible human on this planet has been saying.

A Soccer Coach in a Suit

Stephen Edward Tighe loved coaching school soccer so much that he considered quitting his job at Cantor Fitzgerald when he took on yet another team last August. He had begun to tire of the financial world, and he loved working with children more than doing anything else.

Mr. Tighe, 41, never screamed at his players the way some coaches do. "Unlucky" was his harshest word. When they played well, he would reward them with by shouting, "Magic!"

It was a tough schedule: there was his son Patrick's team, the Rockville Centre Revolution, which he coached twice a week; his son Michael's intramural team once a week; and on weekends the children's games, which he attended faithfully. When he became junior varsity soccer coach at the Kellenberg Memorial High School in August, his bosses at Cantor said he could work half days instead of quitting.

He would leave the World Trade Center every day at 3 p.m. to go back to Rockville Centre, on Long Island, where he grew up and still lived with his wife and four children, to coach the high school kids.

"He treated everybody's kid like they were his own," said his wife, Kathleen Tighe.

What the Terrorists Believe,
What They Hope to Accomplish,
How They Intend to Accomplish It.

THE PRESIDENT:

In the five years since our nation was attacked, we've learned a great deal about the enemy we face in this war. We've learned about them through videos and audio recordings, and letters and statements they've posted on websites. We've learned about them from captured enemy documents that the terrorists have never meant for us to see. Together, these documents and statements have given us clear insight into the mind of our enemies -- their ideology, their ambitions, and their strategy to defeat us.

We know what the terrorists intend to do because they've told us -- and we need to take their words seriously. So today I'm going to describe -- in the terrorists' own words, what they believe… what they hope to accomplish, and how they intend to accomplish it. I'll discuss how the enemy has adapted in the wake of our sustained offensive against them, and the threat posed by different strains of violent Islamic radicalism. I'll explain the strategy we're pursuing to protect America, by defeating the terrorists on the battlefield, and defeating their hateful ideology in the battle of ideas.

The terrorists who attacked us on September the 11th, 2001, are men without conscience -- but they're not madmen. They kill in the name of a clear and focused ideology, a set of beliefs that are evil, but not insane. These al Qaeda terrorists and those who share their ideology are violent Sunni extremists. They're driven by a radical and perverted vision of Islam that rejects tolerance, crushes all dissent, and justifies the murder of innocent men, women and children in the pursuit of political power. They hope to establish a violent political utopia across the Middle East, which they call a "Caliphate" -- where all would be ruled according to their hateful ideology. Osama bin Laden has called the 9/11 attacks -- in his words -- "a great step towards the unity of Muslims and establishing the Righteous… [Caliphate]."

This caliphate would be a totalitarian Islamic empire encompassing all current and former Muslim lands, stretching from Europe to North Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. We know this because al Qaeda has told us. About two months ago, the terrorist Zawahiri -- he's al Qaeda's second in command -- declared that al Qaeda intends to impose its rule in "every land that was a home for Islam, from [Spain] to Iraq. He went on to say, "The whole world is an open field for us."

We know what this radical empire would look like in practice, because we saw how the radicals imposed their ideology on the people of Afghanistan. Under the rule of the Taliban and al Qaeda, Afghanistan was a totalitarian nightmare -- a land where women were imprisoned in their homes, men were beaten for missing prayer meetings, girls could not go to school, and children were forbidden the smallest pleasures like flying kites. Religious police roamed the streets, beating and detaining civilians for perceived offenses. Women were publicly whipped. Summary executions were held in Kabul's soccer stadium in front of cheering mobs. And Afghanistan was turned into a launching pad for horrific attacks against America and other parts of the civilized world -- including many Muslim nations.

The goal of these Sunni extremists is to remake the entire Muslim world in their radical image. In pursuit of their imperial aims, these extremists say there can be no compromise or dialogue with those they call "infidels" -- a category that includes America, the world's free nations, Jews, and all Muslims who reject their extreme vision of Islam. They reject the possibility of peaceful coexistence with the free world. Again, hear the words of Osama bin Laden earlier this year: "Death is better than living on this Earth with the unbelievers among us."

These radicals have declared their uncompromising hostility to freedom. It is foolish to think that you can negotiate with them. (Applause.) We see the uncompromising nature of the enemy in many captured terrorist documents. Here are just two examples: After the liberation of Afghanistan, coalition forces searching through a terrorist safe house in that country found a copy of the al Qaeda charter. This charter states that "there will be continuing enmity until everyone believes in Allah. We will not meet [the enemy] halfway. There will be no room for dialogue with them." Another document was found in 2000 by British police during an anti-terrorist raid in London -- a grisly al Qaeda manual that includes chapters with titles such as "Guidelines for Beating and Killing Hostages." This manual declares that their vision of Islam "does not… make a truce with unbelief, but rather confronts it." The confrontation… calls for… the dialogue of bullets, the ideals of assassination, bombing, and destruction, and the diplomacy of the cannon and machine gun."

Still other captured documents show al Qaeda's strategy for infiltrating Muslim nations, establishing terrorist enclaves, overthrowing governments, and building their totalitarian empire. We see this strategy laid out in a captured al Qaeda document found during a recent raid in Iraq, which describes their plans to infiltrate and take over Iraq's western Anbar Province. The document lays out an elaborate al Qaeda governing structure for the region that includes an Education Department, a Social Services Department, a Justice Department, and an "Execution Unit" responsible for "Sorting out, Arrest, Murder, and Destruction."

According to their public statements, countries that have -- they have targeted stretch from the Middle East to Africa, to Southeast Asia. Through this strategy, al Qaeda and its allies intend to create numerous, decentralized operating bases across the world, from which they can plan new attacks, and advance their vision of a unified, totalitarian Islamic state that can confront and eventually destroy the free world.

These violent extremists know that to realize this vision, they must first drive out the main obstacle that stands in their way -- the United States of America. According to al Qaeda, their strategy to defeat America has two parts: First, they're waging a campaign of terror across the world. They're targeting our forces abroad, hoping that the American people will grow tired of casualties and give up the fight. And they're targeting America's financial centers and economic infrastructure at home, hoping to terrorize us and cause our economy to collapse.

Bin Laden calls this his "bleed-until-bankruptcy plan." And he cited the attacks of 9/11 as evidence that such a plan can succeed. With the 9/11 attacks, Osama bin Laden says, "al Qaeda spent $500,000 on the event, while America… lost -- according to the lowest estimate -- $500 billion… Meaning that every dollar of al Qaeda defeated a million dollars” of America. Bin Laden concludes from this experience that "America is definitely a great power, with… unbelievable military strength and a vibrant economy, but all of these have been built on a very weak and hollow foundation." He went on to say, "Therefore, it is very easy to target the flimsy base and concentrate on their weak points, and even if we're able to target one-tenth of these weak points, we will be able [to] crush and destroy them."

Secondly, along with this campaign of terror, the enemy has a propaganda strategy. Osama bin Laden laid out this strategy in a letter to the Taliban leader, Mullah Omar, that coalition forces uncovered in Afghanistan in 2002. In it, bin Laden says that al Qaeda intends to "[launch]," in his words, "a media campaign… to create a wedge between the American people and their government." This media campaign, bin Laden says, will send the American people a number of messages, including "that their government [will] bring them more losses, in finances and casualties." And he goes on to say that "they are being sacrificed… to serve… the big investors, especially the Jews." Bin Laden says that by delivering these messages, al Qaeda "aims at creating pressure from the American people on the American government to stop their campaign against Afghanistan."

Bin Laden and his allies are absolutely convinced they can succeed in forcing America to retreat and causing our economic collapse. They believe our nation is weak and decadent, and lacking in patience and resolve. And they're wrong. (Applause.) Osama bin Laden has written that the "defeat of... American forces in Beirut" in 1983 is proof America does not have the stomach to stay in the fight. He's declared that "in Somalia… the United States [pulled] out, trailing disappointment, defeat, and failure behind it." And last year, the terrorist Zawahiri declared that Americans "know better than others that there is no hope in victory. The Vietnam specter is closing every outlet."

These terrorists hope to drive America and our coalition out of Afghanistan, so they can restore the safe haven they lost when coalition forces drove them out five years ago. But they've made clear that the most important front in their struggle against America is Iraq -- the nation bin Laden has declared the "capital of the Caliphate." Hear the words of bin Laden: "I now address… the whole… Islamic nation: Listen and understand… The most… serious issue today for the whole world is this Third World War… [that] is raging in [Iraq]." He calls it "a war of destiny between infidelity and Islam." He says, "The whole world is watching this war," and that it will end in "victory and glory or misery and humiliation." For al Qaeda, Iraq is not a distraction from their war on America -- it is the central battlefield where the outcome of this struggle will be decided.

Here is what al Qaeda says they will do if they succeed in driving us out of Iraq: The terrorist Zawahiri has said that al Qaeda will proceed with "several incremental goals. The first stage: Expel the Americans from Iraq. The second stage: Establish an Islamic authority or amirate, then develop it and support it until it achieves the level of Caliphate… The third stage: Extend the jihad wave to the secular countries neighboring Iraq. And the fourth stage: …the clash with Israel."

These evil men know that a fundamental threat to their aspirations is a democratic Iraq that can govern itself, sustain itself, and defend itself. They know that given a choice, the Iraqi people will never choose to live in the totalitarian state the extremists hope to establish. And that is why we must not, and we will not, give the enemy victory in Iraq by deserting the Iraqi people. (Applause.)

Last year, the terrorist Zarqawi declared in a message posted on the Internet that democracy "is the essence of infidelity and deviation from the right path." The Iraqi people disagree. Last December, nearly 12 million Iraqis from every ethnic and religious community turned out to vote in their country's third free election in less than a year. Iraq now has a unity government that represents Iraq's diverse population -- and al Qaeda's top commander in Iraq breathed his last breath. (Applause.)

Despite these strategic setbacks, the enemy will continue to fight freedom's advance in Iraq, because they understand the stakes in this war. Again, hear the words of bin Laden, in a message to the American people earlier this year. He says: "The war is for you or for us to win. If we win it, it means your defeat and disgrace forever."

Now, I know some of our country hear the terrorists' words, and hope that they will not, or cannot, do what they say. History teaches that underestimating the words of evil and ambitious men is a terrible mistake. In the early 1900s, an exiled lawyer in Europe published a pamphlet called "What Is To Be Done?" -- in which he laid out his plan to launch a communist revolution in Russia. The world did not heed Lenin's words, and paid a terrible price. The Soviet Empire he established killed tens of millions, and brought the world to the brink of thermonuclear war. In the 1920s, a failed Austrian painter published a book in which he explained his intention to build an Aryan super-state in Germany and take revenge on Europe and eradicate the Jews. The world ignored Hitler's words, and paid a terrible price. His Nazi regime killed millions in the gas chambers, and set the world aflame in war, before it was finally defeated at a terrible cost in lives.

Bin Laden and his terrorist allies have made their intentions as clear as Lenin and Hitler before them. The question is: Will we listen? Will we pay attention to what these evil men say? America and our coalition partners have made our choice. We're taking the words of the enemy seriously. We're on the offensive, and we will not rest, we will not retreat, and we will not withdraw from the fight, until this threat to civilization has been removed. (Applause.)

Five years into this struggle, it's important to take stock of what's been accomplished -- and the difficult work that remains. Al Qaeda has been weakened by our sustained offensive against them, and today it is harder for al Qaeda's leaders to operate freely, to move money, or to communicate with their operatives and facilitators. Yet al Qaeda remains dangerous and determined. Bin Laden and Zawahiri remain in hiding in remote regions of this world. Al Qaeda continues to adapt in the face of our global campaign against them. Increasingly, al Qaeda is taking advantage of the Internet to disseminate propaganda, and to conduct "virtual recruitment" and "virtual training" of new terrorists. Al Qaeda's leaders no longer need to meet face-to-face with their operatives. They can find new suicide bombers, and facilitate new terrorist attacks, without ever laying eyes on those they're training, financing, or sending to strike us.

As al Qaeda changes, the broader terrorist movement is also changing, becoming more dispersed and self-directed. More and more, we're facing threats from locally established terrorist cells that are inspired by al Qaeda's ideology and goals, but do not necessarily have direct links to al Qaeda, such as training and funding. Some of these groups are made up of "homegrown" terrorists, militant extremists who were born and educated in Western nations, were indoctrinated by radical Islamists or attracted to their ideology, and joined the violent extremist cause. These locally established cells appear to be responsible for a number of attacks and plots, including those in Madrid, and Canada, and other countries across the world.

As we continue to fight al Qaeda and these Sunni extremists inspired by their radical ideology, we also face the threat posed by Shia extremists, who are learning from al Qaeda, increasing their assertiveness, and stepping up their threats. Like the vast majority of Sunnis, the vast majority of Shia across the world reject the vision of extremists -- and in Iraq, millions of Shia have defied terrorist threats to vote in free elections, and have shown their desire to live in freedom. The Shia extremists want to deny them this right. This Shia strain of Islamic radicalism is just as dangerous, and just as hostile to America, and just as determined to establish its brand of hegemony across the broader Middle East. And the Shia extremists have achieved something that al Qaeda has so far failed to do: In 1979, they took control of a major power, the nation of Iran, subjugating its proud people to a regime of tyranny, and using that nation's resources to fund the spread of terror and pursue their radical agenda.

Like al Qaeda and the Sunni extremists, the Iranian regime has clear aims: They want to drive America out of the region, to destroy Israel, and to dominate the broader Middle East. To achieve these aims, they are funding and arming terrorist groups like Hezbollah, which allow them to attack Israel and America by proxy. Hezbollah, the source of the current instability in Lebanon, has killed more Americans than any terrorist organization except al Qaeda. Unlike al Qaeda, they've not yet attacked the American homeland. Yet they're directly responsible for the murder of hundreds of Americans abroad. It was Hezbollah that was behind the 1983 bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut that killed 241 Americans. And Saudi Hezbollah was behind the 1996 bombing of Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia that killed 19 Americans, an attack conducted by terrorists who we believe were working with Iranian officials.

Just as we must take the words of the Sunni extremists seriously, we must take the words of the Shia extremists seriously. Listen to the words of Hezbollah's leader, the terrorist Nasrallah, who has declared his hatred of America. He says, "Let the entire world hear me. Our hostility to the Great Satan [America] is absolute… Regardless of how the world has changed after 11 September, Death to America will remain our reverberating and powerful slogan: Death to America."

Iran's leaders, who back Hezbollah, have also declared their absolute hostility to America. Last October, Iran's President declared in a speech that some people ask -- in his words -- "whether a world without the United States and Zionism can be achieved… I say that this… goal is achievable." Less than three months ago, Iran's President declared to America and other Western powers: "open your eyes and see the fate of pharaoh… if you do not abandon the path of falsehood… your doomed destiny will be annihilation." Less than two months ago, he warned: "The anger of Muslims may reach an explosion point soon. If such a day comes… [America and the West] should know that the waves of the blast will not remain within the boundaries of our region." He also delivered this message to the American people: "If you would like to have good relations with the Iranian nation in the future… bow down before the greatness of the Iranian nation and surrender. If you don't accept [to do this], the Iranian nation will… force you to surrender and bow down."

America will not bow down to tyrants. (Applause.)

The Iranian regime and its terrorist proxies have demonstrated their willingness to kill Americans -- and now the Iranian regime is pursuing nuclear weapons. The world is working together to prevent Iran's regime from acquiring the tools of mass murder. The international community has made a reasonable proposal to Iran's leaders, and given them the opportunity to set their nation on a better course. So far, Iran's leaders have rejected this offer. Their choice is increasingly isolating the great Iranian nation from the international community, and denying the Iranian people an opportunity for greater economic prosperity. It's time for Iran's leader to make a different choice. And we've made our choice. We'll continue to work closely with our allies to find a diplomatic solution. The world's free nations will not allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon. (Applause.)

The Shia and Sunni extremists represent different faces of the same threat. They draw inspiration from different sources, but both seek to impose a dark vision of violent Islamic radicalism across the Middle East. They oppose the advance of freedom, and they want to gain control of weapons of mass destruction. If they succeed in undermining fragile democracies, like Iraq, and drive the forces of freedom out of the region, they will have an open field to pursue their dangerous goals. Each strain of violent Islamic radicalism would be emboldened in their efforts to topple moderate governments and establish terrorist safe havens.

Imagine a world in which they were able to control governments, a world awash with oil and they would use oil resources to punish industrialized nations. And they would use those resources to fuel their radical agenda, and pursue and purchase weapons of mass murder. And armed with nuclear weapons, they would blackmail the free world, and spread their ideologies of hate, and raise a mortal threat to the American people. If we allow them to do this, if we retreat from Iraq, if we don't uphold our duty to support those who are desirous to live in liberty, 50 years from now history will look back on our time with unforgiving clarity, and demand to know why we did not act.

I'm not going to allow this to happen -- and no future American President can allow it either. America did not seek this global struggle, but we're answering history's call with confidence and a clear strategy. Today we're releasing a document called the "National Strategy for Combating Terrorism." This is an unclassified version of the strategy we've been pursuing since September the 11th, 2001. This strategy was first released in February 2003; it's been updated to take into account the changing nature of this enemy. This strategy document is posted on the White House website -- whitehouse.gov. And I urge all Americans to read it.

Our strategy for combating terrorism has five basic elements:

First, we're determined to prevent terrorist attacks before they occur. So we're taking the fight to the enemy. The best way to protect America is to stay on the offense. Since 9/11, our coalition has captured or killed al Qaeda managers and operatives, and scores of other terrorists across the world. The enemy is living under constant pressure, and we intend to keep it that way -- and this adds to our security. When terrorists spend their days working to avoid death or capture, it's harder for them to plan and execute new attacks.

We're also fighting the enemy here at home. We've given our law enforcement and intelligence professionals the tools they need to stop the terrorists in our midst. We passed the Patriot Act to break down the wall that prevented law enforcement and intelligence from sharing vital information. We created the Terrorist Surveillance Program to monitor the communications between al Qaeda commanders abroad and terrorist operatives within our borders. If al Qaeda is calling somebody in America, we need to know why, in order to stop attacks. (Applause.)

I want to thank these three Senators for working with us to give our law enforcement and intelligence officers the tools necessary to do their jobs. (Applause.) And over the last five years, federal, state, and local law enforcement have used those tools to break up terrorist cells, and to prosecute terrorist operatives and supporters in New York, and Oregon, and Virginia, and Texas, and New Jersey, and Illinois, Ohio, and other states. By taking the battle to the terrorists and their supporters on our own soil and across the world, we've stopped a number of al Qaeda plots.

Second, we're determined to deny weapons of mass destruction to outlaw regimes and terrorists who would use them without hesitation. Working with Great Britain and Pakistan and other nations, the United States shut down the world's most dangerous nuclear trading cartel, the AQ Khan network. This network had supplied Iran and Libya and North Korea with equipment and know-how that advanced their efforts to obtain nuclear weapons. And we launched the Proliferation Security Initiative, a coalition of more than 70 nations that is working together to stop shipments related to weapons of mass destruction on land, at sea, and in the air. The greatest threat this world faces is the danger of extremists and terrorists armed with weapons of mass destruction -- and this is a threat America cannot defeat on her own. We applaud the determined efforts of many nations around the world to stop the spread of these dangerous weapons. Together, we pledge we'll continue to work together to stop the world's most dangerous men from getting their hands on the world's most dangerous weapons. (Applause.)

Third, we're determined to deny terrorists the support of outlaw regimes. After September the 11th, I laid out a clear doctrine: America makes no distinction between those who commit acts of terror, and those that harbor and support them, because they're equally guilty of murder. Thanks to our efforts, there are now three fewer state sponsors of terror in the world than there were on September the 11th, 2001. Afghanistan and Iraq have been transformed from terrorist states into allies in the war on terror. And the nation of Libya has renounced terrorism, and given up its weapons of mass destruction programs, and its nuclear materials and equipment. Over the past five years, we've acted to disrupt the flow of weapons and support from terrorist states to terrorist networks. And we have made clear that any government that chooses to be an ally of terror has also chosen to be an enemy of civilization. (Applause.)

Fourth, we're determined to deny terrorist networks control of any nation, or territory within a nation. So, along with our coalition and the Iraqi government, we'll stop the terrorists from taking control of Iraq, and establishing a new safe haven from which to attack America and the free world. And we're working with friends and allies to deny the terrorists the enclaves they seek to establish in ungoverned areas across the world. By helping governments reclaim full sovereign control over their territory, we make ourselves more secure.

Fifth, we're working to deny terrorists new recruits, by defeating their hateful ideology and spreading the hope of freedom -- by spreading the hope of freedom across the Middle East. For decades, American policy sought to achieve peace in the Middle East by pursuing stability at the expense of liberty. The lack of freedom in that region helped create conditions where anger and resentment grew, and radicalism thrived, and terrorists found willing recruits. And we saw the consequences on September the 11th, when the terrorists brought death and destruction to our country. The policy wasn't working.

The experience of September the 11th made clear, in the long run, the only way to secure our nation is to change the course of the Middle East. So America has committed its influence in the world to advancing freedom and liberty and democracy as the great alternatives to repression and radicalism. (Applause.) We're taking the side of democratic leaders and moderates and reformers across the Middle East. We strongly support the voices of tolerance and moderation in the Muslim world. We're standing with Afghanistan's elected government against al Qaeda and the Taliban remnants that are trying to restore tyranny in that country. We're standing with Lebanon's young democracy against the foreign forces that are seeking to undermine the country's sovereignty and independence. And we're standing with the leaders of Iraq's unity government as they work to defeat the enemies of freedom, and chart a more hopeful course for their people. This is why victory is so important in Iraq. By helping freedom succeed in Iraq, we will help America, and the Middle East, and the world become more secure.

During the last five years we've learned a lot about this enemy. We've learned that they're cunning and sophisticated. We've witnessed their ability to change their methods and their tactics with deadly speed -- even as their murderous obsessions remain unchanging. We've seen that it's the terrorists who have declared war on Muslims, slaughtering huge numbers of innocent Muslim men and women around the world.

We know what the terrorists believe, we know what they have done, and we know what they intend to do. And now the world's free nations must summon the will to meet this great challenge. The road ahead is going to be difficult, and it will require more sacrifice. Yet we can have confidence in the outcome, because we've seen freedom conquer tyranny and terror before. In the 20th century, free nations confronted and defeated Nazi Germany. During the Cold War, we confronted Soviet communism, and today Europe is whole, free and at peace.

And now, freedom is once again contending with the forces of darkness and tyranny. This time, the battle is unfolding in a new region -- the broader Middle East. This time, we're not waiting for our enemies to gather in strength. This time, we're confronting them before they gain the capacity to inflict unspeakable damage on the world, and we're confronting their hateful ideology before it fully takes root.

We see a day when people across the Middle East have governments that honor their dignity, and unleash their creativity, and count their votes. We see a day when across this region citizens are allowed to express themselves freely, women have full rights, and children are educated and given the tools necessary to succeed in life. And we see a day when all the nations of the Middle East are allies in the cause of peace.

We fight for this day, because the security of our own citizens depends on it. This is the great ideological struggle of the 21st century -- and it is the calling of our generation. All civilized nations are bound together in this struggle between moderation and extremism. By coming together, we will roll back this grave threat to our way of life. We will help the people of the Middle East claim their freedom, and we will leave a safer and more hopeful world for our children and grandchildren.

Judge Nixes Warrantless Surveillance

A federal judge ruled Thursday that the government's warrantless wiretapping program is unconstitutional and ordered an immediate halt to it.
The American Civil Liberties Union filed the lawsuit. The government argued that the program is well within the president's authority, but said proving that would require revealing state secrets.

ed- How and when did it happen? When did the ACLU morph into a proxy functionary for criminals and terrorists? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not. Wasn't this the exact NSA program, the easedropping of international calls, that prevented the most recent terror attack; the attack planned for yesterday, August 16th?

So the ACLU fought and won this case against our government? Isn't that something?huh?

Editorial excerpts from the Opinion Journal

In our current era of polarized politics, it was probably inevitable that some judge somewhere would strike down the National Security Agency's warrantless wiretaps as unconstitutional. The temptations to be hailed as Civil Libertarian of the Year are just too great.

So we suppose a kind of congratulations are due to federal Judge Anna Diggs Taylor, who won her 10 minutes of fame yesterday for declaring that President Bush had taken upon himself "the inherent power to violate not only the laws of the Congress but the First and Fourth Amendments of the Constitution, itself." Oh, and by the way, the Jimmy Carter appointee also avers that "there are no hereditary Kings in America." In case you hadn't heard.

...The wiretapping program is an intelligence operation, not a law-enforcement proceeding. Congress was duly informed, and not a single specific domestic abuse of such a wiretap has yet been even alleged, much less found.

As for the First Amendment, Judge Taylor asserts that the plaintiffs--a group that includes the ACLU and assorted academics, lawyers and journalists who believe their conversations may have been tapped but almost surely weren't--had their free-speech rights violated because al Qaeda types are now afraid to speak to them on the phone.

But the wiretapping program is not preventing anyone from speaking on the phone. Quite the opposite--if the terrorists stopped talking on the phone, there would be nothing to wiretap. Perhaps the plaintiffs should have sued the New York Times, as it was that paper's disclosure of the program that created the "chill" on "free speech" that Judge Taylor laments...

...Unlike Judge Taylor, Presidents are accountable to the voters for their war-making decisions, as the current White House occupant has discovered. Judge Taylor can write her opinion and pose for the cameras--and no one can hold her accountable for any Americans who might die as a result.

One American Flag in San Fransisco

As the "STOP U.S.-ISRAELI WAR RALLY MARCH" passed through San Fransisco City streets yesterday, this lone woman high up in a building waved a small American flag. She was seemingly the only voice of dissent in sight.

Zombie spent his day snapping pictures of 'mind impenetrable' Moonbat marchers and 'Q-cult blinded' Hezbollah supporters flying Hezbollah & Hammas flags, while others raised their posters picturing Nazrallah and other Anti-Semitic signage in front of San Fransisco's City Hall.

There was one other possible dissenter present, a young man with his arm in a sling wearing a shirt that said: "Israel Broke My Arm."

While these folks marched the streets of San Fransisco more than a thousand Michigan residents (America's Muslim Capital), made their way to Washington D.C. to join in protest with fellow Hezbollah supporters and one of America's greatest prevaricators, former Attorney General Ramsey Clark.

Clark is is on respite from defending Saddam Hussein who's standing trial for "crimes against humanity." In front of the White House Clark drew cheers from his Moonbat/Hezbollah supporter crowd calling for President Bush's impeachment.

Pakistani's Must Make a Lot of Phone Calls

Three Middle Eastern Men Found With 1000 Cell Phones

Around 1:00am August 11th three men purchased cell phones from the Wal-Mart store on M-81 near the corner of M-24 in Caro. Wal-Mart places a limit on the number of cell phones that can be purchased at once, that number is three. The three men allegedly bought 80 by purchasing them three at time so that an alert wouldn't be triggered by the cash register. They also paid cash.

An alert clerk grew suspicious and called Tuscola County central dispatch. The Caro Police Department sent a unit and stopped the rented van on M-81 just east of Caro. The suspects were headed towards Bad Axe on M-81 where there is another Super
Wal-Mart.

The three men were described as being of Pakistani descent but live in Texas. Police say the three, ages 19, 22, and 23 appear to be naturalized citizens. One man was driving while the other two were in the back opening the phone packages with box cutters throwing the phones in one box, batteries in another and the packaging and phone charger in another container. The suspects had 1000 other cell phones in the van. There was also a bag of receipts showing that someone was in Wisconsin the day before.

The phones were Nokia Trackfones selling for $20 at Wal-Mart. For your twenty dollars you receive a phone charger and 40 minutes of airtime. The phones do not have to be registered with a name. Also discovered was a laptop with store addresses and store logos.

The men have been "cooperative, upfront, not hiding" anything according to police. They also told officers they get stopped frequently and say they buy the phones for $20 and sell them elsewhere for $38. They sell them without the packaging or charger.

The Caro Police Department, the FBI and the Homeland Security Terrorism Taskforce are involved in the case.

The Caro Police Department is holding the suspects property while awaiting arrival of the FBI. FBI wants to talk to the three men who are not in custody.

ed- Obviously, the plan to resell these 1000 disposable cell phones was their intent. At $20 each, with a resale price of $38, they need 'only' invest $20,000 to gross $38,000, for a net of $18,000. All they need do is hustle up 1000 buyers. Removing and discarding all the shiny packaging is a good idea too. One wouldn't want them to appear new.

ed- Not required is a rocket-surgeons mind to understand why civilians are NOT targeted, but are regrettably collaterally involved. Hezbollah need be destroyed prior to commencement of (IMO), the upcoming Israeli (or possibly US) pre-emptive attack on Iran’s nuclear and biological assets. This pre-emptive offensive will be justifiable, just as the pre-emptive attack launched on Iraq’s Osirak Nuclear Reactor in 1981.

The failure to destroy Iranian Operatives (Hezbollah Jihadists) in Lebanon provides Iran a direct border with Israel with which to launch attacks. Look at the Map. This ain’t rocket surgery.

Factor Interviews a Dunderhead

Factor (as GWB refers to Bill O'Reilly) interviewed Maryland Democrat Congressman Albert Wynn last night. Bill inquired asking Wynn about his view on the Iraq war and Iran's involvement

Congressman Wynn said: "Keep your hands off the panic button. Iran is definitely a problem, but our staying in Iraq is not going to solve the problem. As a matter of fact, if you think about it, our presence in Iraq has coincided with more terrorists, more activities by Hezbollah, and more activity by Hamas. So I don't see how staying in Iraq, losing more American soldiers, is solving the problem."

Bill rebutted: "Iran controls the Mahdi army through the Shia cleric al- Sadr, which the new Iraqi government can't stand up to. So if the United States pulls out, Iran becomes the dominant force inside Iraq. If we pull out, and if Iran then dominates Iraq, you don't see the unintended consequences of that? I don't think you have a clue on how to confront the puppet master."

I say: How can we expect the American public to have any understanding of this War-On-Terror, if our elected Representatives in Congress like Albert Wynn, have no clue (whatsoever) themselves. After the elections come November, President Bush et al, need have a sit-down (closed if need be) full session of Congress, and teach the dunderheads.

A weekly - routine fireside-chat with all of America is really all that’s needed though.

I find it absolutely amazing a United States Congressman is this uninformed. IMO this guy wasn’t spinning the democratic talking-points. He just has no data in his head to draw from.

Or, I can come fully awake and figure out whatever little thing I can. Part of that is doing a good job helping citizens going through the legal system. I also can raise my son to be a God-fearing, America-loving, rational and educated man.

There is no hitting the SNOOZE button for me...or for anyone else who doesn't want to wear a burqaa and buy a compass to figure out which way to kneel before Satan fives times a day.

As most people know, the day after the FBI warned Jewish organizations to be on high-alert after Hezbollah and al Qaeda’s #2, Ayman al-Zawahiri, called for the war raging in the Middle-East be carried to America, 30 year old Pakistani Muslim Naveed Haq, burst into the offices of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. He opened fire on the women only, killing one, and wounding five, three critically. All the while shouting, “I'm a Muslim American and I'm angry at Israel.”

What most people don’t know, as the media will not report, is that this lone Jihadist, Naveed Haq's prayer buddy, Yousef Shehadeb, says they belong to the Islamic Center of the Tri-Cities in Richland, where Haq's father, Mian A. Haq, is a founding member. Shehadeb said both Haq and Haq’s father work at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation. Shehadeb says many members of the area’s Muslim community work at this nuclear waste dump. This 586-square mile dump is one of the largest in the world, is home to nine dorment nuclear reactors, 177 underground tanks holding 53 million gallons of radioactive waste and today employs over 11,000 hazmat personnel.

How irresponsibly PC stupid are we American’s? This guy, and other Muslim American’s work at nuclear waste dump sites? Excuse me! What's a dirty-bomb made from? What is the universal goal of all jihadists? Isn't it to martyr themselves for the cause? Have we not learned by now that the risk of possible radiation exposure while transporting nuclear waste is probably of little concern to a jihadist who has plans to martyr himself?

Iranian Reporter: Far away from the resounding speeches and the political propaganda, these Iranian men chose to put words into action. They are all university students who have gathered here, in Tehran, under the title of "the Justice Movement of the Students," in order to go to Lebanon and the occupied Palestinian territories, and join the ranks of the resistance there. It is noteworthy that this movement operates with no governmental support. It is a voluntary movement par excellence. They hope that the Turkish authorities will allow them to pass into Syria, and from there into Lebanon.

Between a political demonstration such as this, and another, which insists on true participation in the battlefield, the popular Iranian position is to support the resistance, in theory and in practice. "The living martyrs" - this is what they call themselves. Their journey is a long one, as they know full well. Nevertheless, they are coming to the aid of their brothers in Palestine and Lebanon, according to the principle: "He who helps his brother, Allah helps him."

Amin Jalili Nejad, secretary of the Justice Movement of the Students: This is a popular movement, which receives support from no one.

A former CSIS informant who once kept tabs on terrorists says the Iranian regime is “mentally and spiritually” preparing its people for war against Israel.

The Ottawa man, now in Tehran, says the hate campaign against Israel is “everywhere” on the streets of the capital.

“It is not good. It is sad,” he told the Citizen. “There are posters at intersections of (Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah) saying Israel must be erased from the map.”

Opponents of the Iranian government in Canada say they have received similar reports describing huge posters of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, hardline president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the Hezbollah leader alongside the slogan: “This war is our war.”

WASHINGTON – Walid Shoebat, born in Bethlehem, began attacking Israelis when he was 8 years old, throwing stones and Molotov cocktails.
He was, Shoebat says now, an Islamic terrorist in the making – a product of his environment, including schools, media and mosques that preached hatred of Jews.
"I never actually met any Jews," he said. "But in school we were taught from the Quran that they were pigs and monkeys.''
By 15, he had already served time in a Jerusalem prison for participating in an anti-Israel riot. While there, he was recruited into the Palestine Liberation Organization.
At 16, he was chosen to take a loaf of bread, packed with explosives, to blow up the Bethlehem Bank Leumi. His instructions were to place it in a garbage can near the door of the building. But seeing Arab children playing nearby, he decided to throw the bread on the roof where it did little damage.
He once blinded a man during a fight and was "so happy" to learn he was a Jew.
He was also involved in the near-lynching of an Israeli soldier. Though Shoebat and his friends took the soldier's gun and beat him, he managed to escape.
His motivation?
"I wanted to die as a martyr," said. "We were indoctrinated to look forward to heaven.''
Shoebat's parents, however, had something else in mind for their son. Fearing he would wind up dead or in prison, they sent him to the United States for college at the age of 18.
But that didn't stop Shoebat's anti-Israeli activism. He continued his recruitment for the PLO on campus. He was the representative for thousands of Palestinian students in Chicago, raising funds, purchasing military uniforms and sending students to fight in Lebanon.
His deep-seated revulsion of Jews and Israelis continued until he married a Christian woman in 1993. Though he was determined to convert her to Islam, Maria converted him instead.
"She challenged me to find any mistakes in the Bible," he recalls. "So I set out on a six-month journey to do that – to find the errors and convert her."
Instead, he says, after reading the Bible from cover to cover, he determined it was the truth. The computer programmer and his wife were baptized together.
It was an unlikely twist for the grandson of the mukhtar of Beit Sahour and a close friend of the grand mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini, an associate of Adolph Hitler.
But that was hardly the end of the journey for Walid Shoebat, now 43.
To test his new faith he took a trip to Israel.
"I had still never talked to a Jewish Israeli," he said. "On the plane there, I sat next to a Jewish woman and talked to her. She began crying. I asked her why. She said that she loved her daughters and was worried about them serving in the military. I asked her how they felt killing Palestinians. She replied that they hated killing. I saw a sincerity there that touched me."
Now Shoebat has turned his activism in a completely different direction. He calls himself a Christian Zionist, giving speeches around the country and in Canada, where he made an appearance this week. His ultimate dream, he says, is to go to Israeli prisons to teach Palestinian youngsters Jewish history – a dream he understands is fraught with danger from the people who think as he once did.
Even his own father calls him a traitor.
"He still calls me at 2 o'clock in the morning and tells me I should be killed," he said. "He hates me."
Now Shoebat speaks at churches and synagogues and to radio talk-show hosts fascinated by his story. He is working on a book and maintains a website.
"That's my mission now – to go to Americans and churches and anywhere I can go and explain God's plan for the state of Israel, and how God intended Israel to be a light unto the nations, and how all of our hatred toward Israel is really evil," he says.
Shoebat grew up in the West Bank when it was under the control of Jordan. He recalls the 1967 Six-Day War vividly.
"The Jordanian and Egyptian radios were ordering all Arabs to leave because they were going to kill all the Jews," he says. "But we locked ourselves in our bathroom for the six days of the war. My father refused to leave because he thought that my mother's American passport would protect us.''
During the war, Shoebat's family listened to the Arab radio station announcing victory over the Israelis. They were amazed to find Israeli soldiers in place of Jordanian soldiers when they emerged from hiding.
What was life like on the "occupied West Bank" under Israeli control?
"Beautiful,'' he says. "Prices fell. We had no problems.''

Jihadi's in Vegas just might be bad for gaming.

Last evening at an MGM Mirage Properties Las Vegas Strip casino restroom, I took notice of an 18 to 22 year old Muslim man with a backpack, wearing no jewelry or watch, dressed in jeans and t-shirt, vigorously washing his hands clear up to his elbow, whilst glaring at, or to himself in the mirror. “Huh! Doesn’t he look suspicious?” I mused to myself. I left and returned to my table within eyeshot of the restroom, keeping eye watching and waiting for him to exit. He didn’t come out. 11 to 12 minutes later I reentered the restroom. There he was, still diligently washing his hands. He glanced to me, seemingly caring little of my presence and attention being-paid him.

Las Vegas is a town many young westernized dandily dressed Muslim men come to recreate. But this guy wasn’t one of these vacationers. I was certain. And he also wasn’t washing prior to prayer. One who is versed in the prayer practices of the Muslim-man knows they wash prior to any of their five daily prayers. The last prayer (night prayer), the Isha, is to be performed at 9:40 P.M on this day. It was now 10:30. It is said the radicalized Muslim-man washes extensively and removes all pubic hair prior to graduating to Allah (and the 72 virgins). A devout religious Muslim (a man of peace) would not be within the confines of any gaming establishment, as any form of game-of-chance is strictly forbidden by Islam. I had this instinctive (certain) feeling this guy was a jihadi, with bad intent in mind.

Just as I began my immediate exit, a security guard appeared. This man was one of the sharp ones. He understood my suspicions immediately. He radioed for assistance, and in 20 seconds two additional guards appeared. I watched a moment as these brave men apprehensively addressed the suspect from yards away.

From the other side of the casino, where I immediately transplanted myself to, leaving thousands on my poker table, I realized, if this man is an explosive laden jihadi, there was absolutely nothing security could do except ask him to leave. Unlike a border crossing, or people transport facility, where rights to search have been granted, and upheld by the courts, can a search be performed of an individuals bags or person without probable cause. Possibly, if these privately owned properties (casinos) displayed signage at all entry and exit points to this effect, they could perform searches. I don’t know. Do they even want to? I doubt it. Will they in the future. I suspect a yes, as they will have to, to protect their interest, their clientele.

Worldwide terror attacks are commonplace occurrences. Look at Israel, New York, Bali, Madrid, Mumbai, London, Breslan, Iraq, Kenya, Yemen, Tunisia, Karachi, Morocco, Dhahran, Riyadh, Khobar, Jeddah, Istanbul, Jakarta, Amman, etc. Two additional attempts here in the States have been thwarted, the Seattle Millennium Plot and the Path Train Tunnel Plot. Some suspect the ‘steady’ green light hasn’t been given to attack the “Great Satan” - America, by the lead Jihadist - bin Laden in Pakistan, and Khameinei in Iran.

When the terrorist’s cells in America (click here) step-up their carnage, how will the American people respond to attacks at home? I refer not to our government response, but the people’s response? Will we, like the Israeli’s, who endured such attacks for decades, continue to operate with the resolve - that it will not effect our way of life. The Israeli’s through it all have continued to shop, to dine, to recreate, to spend, to live their lives. Will we? And how do we even begin to protect ourselves from such random attacks? Unlike Israel which has highly trained profilers trained to thwart such attacks, America, I suspect has few at present.

I don’t know the outcome of this potential restroom bomber. Security offered me no information. A terrorist in Vegas just might be bad for gaming. /sarcasm off

They want us to understand.

I sit one eye towards floor, hand propping head whilst covering the other. I push a tear to the side as I lookup again in disbelief at this photo-clip from an al-Qaeda video displaying a murder by way of sawing-off the mans head.

One viewing is all I require to understand. Forever, a clip or worded mention shall serve as my reminder for my mind to replay this evil.

A one time view allowed me to get it. I got it. I understand. But why don't they. Why don't the Jones', all the Jones' across America, just get it? Why can't they see? One reason may be because they haven't seen the video of al-Qaeda sawing off the mans head.

It's too violent. If you want them to understand, maybe they need see the video. That's why al-Qaeda shows it. They want us, and their maniacal minions to understand.

THE 2nd FRONT

The following is a plea (if you haven't yet) to make preparations for potential multiple major terrorist’s strikes to our larger cities in the United States on or about the 4th week of August.

My reasoning is based upon questionable evidence. But, so what. During this period we can expect the terror level heightened by the Bush Administration with little explanation other then usual - “Heightened Chatter.”

What’s happening?

The 2nd Front of this Terror War escalating in the Middle East that is being fought (with US sanction/support) between Israel and the terror groups Hezbollah in Lebanon, and Hamas in Palestine, with weaponry, training, and forces supplied by Iran. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called upon both Hezbollah and Hamas to initiate their assaults to divert attention from their nuclear ambitions and their need to respond to the UN incentive package offered to discontinue production. The deadline of July 11th was (not coincidently) the start date of hostilities against Israel.

Why is this important?

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khameinei, the supreme Jihadist Maniac, who really calls-the-shots, not President Ahmadinejad, said not to expect an answer before August 22nd. August 22nd (a significant Muslim date), the date Saladin took Jerusalem. . And the day Iman Husayn who started Shia Islam began his journey from Medina Saudi Arabia, to Karbala Iraq. And maybe as important – the eve of August 22nd when Mohammad graduated to heaven (and 72 virgins). CLICK HERE.

They have created this current escalating conflict (the 2nd front) with great purpose in mind. These maniacal nuts believe Iman Mahdi (see link above) who has been kept alive since 874 AD will return this August upon Armageddon to bring Islamic Justice.

Curtail unnecessary trips within major cities in late August. Be well stocked of canned food supplies, water, fuel, alternative lighting & power devices, medicines, etc.

I stocked up on birdseed. Now I only need a bird.  Now who said: “You are a bird.”

Maybe. However, if you have not prepared your terror preparedness package yet - What are you waiting for - another building to fall on you?

The Iranian Ambassador to the UN had just finished giving a speech, and walked out into the lobby where he met President Bush. They shook hands, and as they walked the Iranian said, "You know, I have just one question about what I have seen in America."

President Bush said, "Well, anything I can do to help you, I will."
